Nars is known for their chic French style and fashion-led campaigns, with eye-catching seasonal collections and well-loved classics.

We chose the original semi-matte formula lipstick in the shade Schiap. This shocking pink is almost unlike any other we’ve seen! A neon, fluro, blinding, but still flattering colour is near impossible to come by, but this one ticks all those boxes. It’s a true pink, deep enough not to be Barbie, and light enough not to be a berry shade. It seems to almost reflect light, making it ultra wearable and flattering, and although it’s incredibly bold, it’s one of the least scary brights we’ve ever worn. It works to illuminate and brighten the skin, partly by the fantastic colour, and partly as the impact it makes mean that more attention is paid to your lips than anywhere else on your face! The pigmentation feels high quality and the texture is smooth and comfortable, with a sophisticated velvet-matte finish. The packaging is the classic Nars black rubberised casing with white lettering, which, although it can get a little mucky, still whispers ‘high-end’ without having to shout about it.

In case it’s not glaringly obvious, we love this lippie, and our 5-star rating proves it! And it’s up for grabs in this week’s giveaway on our Facebook page.

Good luck!

Love, Lipcote x
