An Italian Rose…A Lipcote Lipstick Review!

November 5, 2015

Brand Name: KIKO

Lipstick Colour: Light Rose

Price: £6.90

Lipcote Rating: 4/5

The first thing that attracted me to this Luscious Cream lipstick was the gorgeous packaging created exclusively for KIKO. The lipstick is contained in an ultra-chic case that has a unique opening clasp. It feels like packaging you’ll want to get out to apply in front of people just to show the fabulous case!

However, ultimately the lip colour is the most important thing! I love the creamy texture of this formula; it glides on and makes the lip feel moisturised while giving a gorgeous intense colour. I chose the Light Rose which is a beautiful soft nude; it looks fabulous with a smokey eye and will suit many skin tones.

Kiko is an Italian brand that is now widely available in the UK. There are 25 colours in the Luscious cream range from nude, to neon, to black! Each lip colour is highly pigmented, long-lasting, yet still feels light on the lip and contains a moisturising and plumping action thanks to an ingredient that stimulates the production of hyaluronic acid which helps to keep the ideal moisture level in the lips and increases their fullness.

They are also hypoallergenic, so formulated to ensure minimum instance of allergic reactions.

I do find though that the creamier formulas don’t last that well, so a slick of Lipcote really did help with longevity and less reapplying.
