Already a much talked about product on the beauty blogging scene, we just had to see ourselves what all the fuss is about with Revlon’s Colorburst matte balm! The range comes in 10 collectible shades, so we dived in head first to try ‘Unapologetic’, an undoubtedly and unashamedly pink shade!

This chubby lipstick ‘crayon’ is surprisingly easy to apply and to create a defined lip line. When drawing over lips a cool, mint flavour and scent makes for a highly refreshing lipstick experience. We think this colour will really give the wow factor to a summery party or festival outfit, as well as feeling light and delicious on the mouth. The last thing you want to worry about when having fun in the sun is your lipstick smudging, and this balm along with Lipcote feels secure and hugs the lips comfortably.

With the power of three nourishing butters; mango, shea and coconut, we were also pleased with the highly pigmented finish. You only really need one layer to gain the full colour effect with this, and it’s certainly the loudest colour from the range verging on neon pink. Along with Lipcote we found this balm to be incredibly long-lasting and didn’t budge through eating lunch or hot drinks throughout a busy day.

With a twist up function, and plenty of colour to use, we think this balm will last for ages, and handy to use when in a hurry. With a velvety matte finish, this highly anticipated lip pencil and lipstick hybrid had us bowled over in it’s one swipe, Barbie bright, lip tingling appeal! X
