Rouge Dior is Dior’s range of 32 lipstick colours directly inspired by the fashion house’s archive of Haute Couture gowns. They say; ‘Haute colour, voluptuous care’.

Well we say… er we love it! We chose the shade Mazette, a stand-out coral pink. With no shimmer, and an extra creamy formula, it’s definitely a fashion-forward colour. In the stick the lippie looks a bright, slightly warm-toned coral. But once on, it can take on a wide range of hues, from a cool bold fuchsia, to an orangey summer pink. We discovered, by doing a few very scientific tests (eg. getting a few lippie-loving friends to try it out too!) that the shade it comes up as really depends on the natural colouring of your lips, and individual skin tone. And although with some lipsticks this can be a really annoying feature, it seems that whatever shade this turns out as on different people, it ends up being an incredibly flattering one! Texture-wise it’s smooth with a glowy satin finish, so not matte or velvet but it works perfectly with Lipcote to make it last and last. And the brightness gives a great colour pop with any look, although we particularly liked it with a light bronze smoky eye for a really summery feel.

Overall we’re really impressed by this lippie’s clever chameleon qualities, so don’t miss your the chance to win it over on our Facebook page.

Good luck!

Love, Lipcote x
