The Dior at Harrods exhibition closes on the 14th April, so this week we decided that we just had to get there to see it before it ends! An homage to the French fashion house, the exhibition features everything iconic about the brand, from couture dresses to handbags, cosmetics, and of course, perfume. The Harrods windows have been transformed with a theme of ‘French Savior Fair and British Charm’, and the fourth floor of the store has been turned into the ultimate Dior experience, with a reconstruction of the façade of 30 Avenue Montaigne (the Paris Dior headquarters) as well as dresses worn by movie stars and even a Dior café, serving an array of dishes from truffle omelette to peach and strawberry soup and Dior cupcakes!
Our highlights were the seriously gorgeous gold lame dress as worn by Charlize Theron in the J’Adore adverts, the silvery-white embellished dress worn by the one and only Audrey Hepburn in 1959, and the Miss Dior scent booth, although there’s countless other wonderful things to see!
So if you’re in London before the 14th April, make sure you pop along to Harrods and take a step into this wonderful world of Dior, while you still have the chance!
And look out for our special Dior-themed lipstick review this week too!
Love, Lipcote x
