The weekend just after Mother’s Day, we made sure to grab our ticket at the Glamour Beauty Festival in association with Fiat. Hosted at the famous Saatchi Gallery we had multiple options of first-come first-served complimentary treatments.
From expert skin advice, nail specialists on hand to prettify nails, make up artists swishing their brushes to hair stylists armed with pins and rollers, three floors were filled with mothers, daughters and all types of beauty lovers queuing up for pampering treatments with the most iconic brands such as Liz Earle, Agent Provocateur, GHD and many more.
The first Glamour Beauty Festival was clearly all about spending an indulgent day of being totally made over, whilst getting to know the latest products sipping on a free glass of bubbles. In the beauty forum area we made sure to grab a seat at the industry talk by iconic MUA Mary Greenwell entitled ‘My Life In Makeup’ and in conversation with Glamour cover star and columnist Fearne Cotton.
From models to royalty, there isn’t a famous face that Mary Greenwell hasn’t touched, so we were keen to hear all the gossip that happens behind the scenes with celebrities, as well as her personal journey to being a makeup artist.
As the end of our day drew near we didn’t want to leave but were gobsmacked to receive a huge luxury goodie bag with treats worth over £160, making the ticket price well worth it and kept us smiling well into the next week. Well done Glamour, here’s to the next one!
Love, Lipcote x
