Estee Lauder are known for their luxury, scientifically advanced skin care, and sophisticated cosmetics ad campaigns. Everything about the brand screams luxury and high-end, so who wouldn’t want to try out a lippie of theirs?!

There’s a reason why this lipstick is called ‘Signature’ – the packaging is the classic and instantly recognisable gold grooved tube, weighty and expensive feeling. It opens smoothly, closes with a satisfying click, and looks chic whether on your dressing table or chucked in your handbag. We chose the shade ‘Rose Honey’ – a peachy nude. All too often with nudes, they end up giving a grey or white cast, but not this one! The yellow-peach undertones in the shade mean it still gives depth of colour, whilst not being a bright – pretty unusual! It’s perfect for a casual day look, or to set-off dark smoky eyes brilliantly without loosing the shape and contours of the lips, another easy trap to fall into when wearing nudes. The texture is creamy and the colour builds well with a couple of layers – it is slightly moisturising, in a comfortable, non-greasy way, and it works well with Lipcote to give great staying power and a glowy satin finish.

All in all, we’re chuffed we’ve found a nude with as much impact as a red, albeit in a different way! It’s a lovely luxury, that one of our lucky Facebook fans now has the chance to win!

Good luck!

Love, Lipcote x
